Finished Filming for the Copyright DVD
Wednesday, November 5th, 2008Today we shot the final scenes for the Copyright DVD. We were shooting mostly out on the street and had to compete with all kinds of noises from birds, dogs, planes, trains and automobiles. A real challenge when you are using only the basic of equipment. It just meant being prepared to do lots of takes and to try and time the filming between flights and changing traffic lights. Today was another reminder that sound is so important in a film because if you can’t hear the dialogue you can’t understand what’s going on! I think they should change that old filming cliche to “Lights. Sound. Camera. Action.” But it doesn’t quite role off the tongue as well does it?
